Doug Kulka
Doug Kulka serves on the enterprise leadership team as the Chief Information & Technology Officer for Tyson Foods. He is responsible for leading technology operations, cyber, cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms and plant automation. Doug oversees the use of technology to drive innovation and business growth at Tyson Foods. He has more than 25 years of global experience, driving innovative technology and business solutions at scale for Fortune 500 companies.
As a member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Doug reports to President and CEO, Donnie King.
Doug joined Tyson Foods in 2017 as vice president of enabling functions to drive innovation and technology adoption across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Sales, and Sustainability. In this role, he led successful implementations of enterprise platforms, including Blacksmith/Forge, Enablon, SAP S/4, Sugar CRM, and Workday to enable digital business functions. In 2020 he was asked to build our ‘follow the sun’ shared services organization that today delivers the UX design, development, testing, and application support capabilities across the company.
Before joining Tyson Foods, Doug held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard (HP) leading global regulatory compliance. During his 10-year career with HP, Doug held multiple senior global leadership roles including a two-year expatriate assignment in Sao Paulo, Brazil as the leader for emerging countries and member of the Brazil leadership team. He has extensive experience in corporate carve-outs as demonstrated by successfully leading the design, testing, and cutover for the $8.8 billion sale of HP’s software business to Micro Focus International.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in finance with a strength in computer science from the University of Connecticut.
Anchal Gupta
Anchal Gupta is Chief Technology Officer (CTO). As CTO, Anchal is directly responsible for building industry models to solve customer challenges and modernizing our technology to further digitalize our operation and customer experience through innovation and laying a forward-looking technology foundation for the company. She leads the functional areas of technology architecture, technology platforms, data engineering, operations research and advanced analytics, and emerging technologies.
Prior to joining American, Anchal held various senior IT management roles with companies including Barclays, American Express, DTCC and, most recently, JPMorgan Chase where she led the transformation and modernization of card platforms, applications and data solutions. Throughout her 25 plus years career, she has focused on defining and executing technology strategies with financial acumen that drive business results through innovative engineering. She has been a part of many industry-first influencing solutions around B2B and B2C customer experiences, payments, wallets, mobile, AI/ML customer 360, infrastructure, and cloud-based solutions – driving these initiatives from architecture to execution with agile delivery adoption.
She fosters a culture of innovation that challenges the status quo and believes in being a catalyst and change agent. Anchal empowers others to succeed by developing talent and building followership by leading with empathy.
Shez Partovi
Shez is an experienced clinical professor, neuroradiologist, global executive and entrepreneur with a track record of leading large health systems, cloud transformation, and artificial intelligence and machine learning initiatives in the healthcare, life sciences and genomics industries.
Since 2021, Shez has led Philips’ global Innovation & Strategy organization. In collaboration with the operating businesses, he is responsible for creating enterprise-wide strategies to deliver people- and patient-centric innovation, at scale. Shez and his teams raise the bar of innovation across the company and provide world-class capabilities and platforms to enable innovations that improve people’s health and healthcare outcomes, as well as making care more accessible, convenient, and sustainable.
Shez also leads the Enterprise Informatics business at Philips, established in 2023. Enterprise Informatics combines Philips software and hardware solutions to empower healthcare leaders and care providers with the actionable insights they need to make informed decisions, optimize workflows and operations, and deliver high-quality care to improve patient outcomes. Shez and his informatics teams advance the mission of Philips as a world leader and trusted partner in integrated diagnostics, scaling insights & analytics.
Shez joined Philips from Amazon Web Services (AWS), where he served as Worldwide Head of Business Development for Healthcare, Life Sciences and Medical Devices. In that role, he was responsible for the global AWS go-to-market strategy, charting the path for customer cloud transformation, and the adoption of artificial intelligence and machine learning. Prior to joining AWS in 2018, Shez spent 20 years at Dignity Health, the fifth largest health system in the U.S. He started his career in 1998 as a neuroradiologist at the Barrow Neurological Institute and was in clinical practice until 2013. In addition to his medical training at McGill University in Montreal, he has post-graduate qualifications in computer science. Shez has a passion for learning and teaching. He helped launch the Biomedical Informatics Department at Arizona State University and taught there as a clinical professor for three years.
