Before he retired, he led the Financial Integrity Program for the RCMP in the province of Quebec.  He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from McGill University as well as completing a CAMS certification

David started his career as a Software Engineer focused on web services and agile software development. This experience led him to be involved with several projects, from startups to government and large corporations in many different fields. After 17 years of conducting R&D in Brazil, David moved to the US to engage in scientific research applied to a global industry of security and privacy, which has been his focus for the past nine years.

Use case identification is only half of the battle. It is vital to then determine which of the various PETs are most appropriate to act upon it- especially the case given that in some situations multiple solutions might be required.
