Doug Kulka serves on the enterprise leadership team as the Chief Information & Technology Officer for Tyson Foods. He is responsible for leading technology operations, cyber, cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms and plant automation.  Doug oversees the use of technology to drive innovation and business growth at Tyson Foods. He has more than 25 years of global experience, driving innovative technology and business solutions at scale for Fortune 500 companies.

As a member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Doug reports to President and CEO, Donnie King.

Doug Kulka serves on the enterprise leadership team as the Chief Information & Technology Officer for Tyson Foods. He is responsible for leading technology operations, cyber, cloud infrastructure, enterprise platforms and plant automation.  Doug oversees the use of technology to drive innovation and business growth at Tyson Foods. He has more than 25 years of global experience, driving innovative technology and business solutions at scale for Fortune 500 companies.

As a member of Tyson Foods’ enterprise leadership team, Doug reports to President and CEO, Donnie King.

Doug joined Tyson Foods in 2017 as vice president of enabling functions to drive innovation and technology adoption across Finance, Human Resources, Legal, Sales, and Sustainability. In this role, he led successful implementations of enterprise platforms, including Blacksmith/Forge, Enablon, SAP S/4, Sugar CRM, and Workday to enable digital business functions. In 2020 he was asked to build our ‘follow the sun’ shared services organization that today delivers the UX design, development, testing, and application support capabilities across the company.

Before joining Tyson Foods, Doug held senior leadership roles at Hewlett Packard (HP) leading global regulatory compliance. During his 10-year career with HP, Doug held multiple senior global leadership roles including a two-year expatriate assignment in Sao Paulo, Brazil as the leader for emerging countries and member of the Brazil leadership team. He has extensive experience in corporate carve-outs as demonstrated by successfully leading the design, testing, and cutover for the $8.8 billion sale of HP’s software business to Micro Focus International.

Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in finance with a strength in computer science from the University of Connecticut.

After completing a degree in Veterinary Medicine at Cambridge University in 2002, her first professional experience was working in clinical veterinary practice before joining Boehringer Ingelheim in 2005. She subsequently completed an MBA at London Business School.

 

In Boehringer Ingelheim she has held positions at a local, regional and global level across business management, marketing and technical functions, mainly in Animal Health. This includes senior leadership roles such as the responsibility for the Boehringer Ingelheim Italian animal health subsidiary, and most recently for the overall commercial performance of the region encompassing Europe and Canada.  She also spent some time in Consumer Health Care as Category lead in global marketing.

 

Claire was appointed Head of Global Strategic Marketing in January 2025 and became a member of the Executive Committee of the Animal Health Business Unit at Boehringer.

Dr. Elie Gottlieb is a sleep neuroscientist with over 10 years of sleep, circadian rhythm, and neuroscience research experience across academia (clinical neuroscience) and industry (Fortune 100 and startup). He is currently the Head of Applied Sleep Science at SleepScore Labs, a B2B consumer sleep tech company offering evidence-based sleep APIs and R&D services to characterize and improve population sleep health. Prior to joining SleepScore, Dr. Gottlieb led a team of researchers at Johnson & Johnson working on the Lake Nona Life Project, a multi-generational study aimed at identifying behavioral health factors that contribute to long-term health and wellness. He remains a Visiting Researcher at the Florey Institute of Neuroscience and University of Melbourne in Australia where he investigates associations between cerebrovascular disease, neurodegenerative disease, and sleep-wake dysfunction. He publishes what he preaches — leveraging user-generated big health data, he has over 50 peer-reviewed publications, conference abstracts, and book chapters. His areas of interest are in sleep neuroscience, consumer sleep and health technology, big-data, behavior change science, UI/UX, and science communication.
