Rani Johnson
Rani Johnson is chief information officer (CIO) at Workday. She oversees the company’s global information technology organization, with responsibility for the internal deployment of Workday products.
Prior to joining Workday, Rani served as CIO at Cloud Software Group where she was responsible for developing the vision and overall business strategy of the IT organization. Preceding Cloud Software Group, she served as CIO at TIBCO, SVP and CIO of SolarWinds, and CIO at the Lower Colorado River Authority (LCRA).
Rani began her career interning at NASA Johnson Space Center and was part of a team that had code deployed on the International Space Station.
Rani holds dual degrees in electrical engineering and general engineering from the Georgia Institute of Technology and Spelman College.

Fran Bell Ph.D. is Chief Data, AI and Analytics Officer at Ford Motor Company, a role she assumed in January 2025.
In this role, Fran leads a diverse team of experts focused on enhancing how the Ford enterprise solves business problems and drives business value through data, artificial intelligence, and advanced analytics.
Fran joined Ford from BP, where she most recently served as Chief Technology Office (CTO) and Senior Vice President (SVP) of Digital Technology. At BP, her leadership encompassed a large technology organization responsible for software and platform engineering, data science, AI, data analytics, data engineering, data management, UX research, design, and change management. Before her time at BP, Fran held executive positions at Toyota Research Institute and Uber.
Fran holds a doctoral degree in Theoretical Chemistry from the University of California, Berkeley and a postdoc from Caltech.
